The Community Services Division began providing services to adults with serious mental illness in 1986. All Community Services Division programs are certified by the Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Community Services seeks to provide the necessary supports these individuals need to remain in the community and retain an acceptable quality of life. Programs are community-based and build on each individual’s unique strengths. Referrals are received from MSH and other referral sources. All individuals receiving services must have a psychiatric diagnosis and documented serious mental illness. |
