Individuals determined appropriate for nursing home care by their physician are assigned to one of the buildings seen here and on the next three pages, depending on which unit will best meet the residents identified medical, social and emotional needs.  Both private pay and Medicaid eligible individuals are accepted at JNH. Individualized care planning is provided by a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, dentists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, kinesiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, recreation therapists, ministers and dieticians.   JNH also offers a 27-bed special care unit for individuals who require more intensive supervision and assistance due to decreased cognitive functioning and increased behavioral management needs.
